Child Soldiers

The use of Children in War is vital to its success. To win a war, as a country, you need everyone to be ready and willing to serve the country in any way possible. In a great war, most of the men and women will take up arms and go join the fight, leaving many duties to be taken up by the few adults who did not, and the children. At the start of a war the children will have more responsibilities and will need to believe in their side. Using youth groups, you could start training these kids into young adults and show them how to cope with the stress of war. A war can be done in a year, or could take many. Not knowing how long a war will last means that the children need start learning about actual fighting, so when they are of age they can be sent to fight. By using the children of your country, you could hold out longer than your enemies and win the war.

  1. The use of children as soldiers is barbaric. It shows a lack of education in a society, for it shows how misguided the society is. As the president of the United States, I stress that using child soldiers would only end in havoc for the rest of the country. Children need to stay children so that they can have healthy lives and be happy. If they are pushed into battle, then they will become like robots. They will get PTSD and not be able to grow up normally. I am completely opposed to using children as soldiers and would not be happy if any country started this line of military strategy. Children should stay at home, in their beds, being happy, never needing to fight anyone but the school bully.

  2. Absolutely outrageous, the very idea is preposterous and goes against what is humane and the correct thing to do. Children should have no part in disagreements between adults. There are many reasons for this, children are incapable of following orders that are given and are complex. This might lead to the fall of a whole army. Children are also a lot more dependent and a lot less sturdy. Children shouldn't have to suffer the consequences of a war, it is not as god intended it to be. Perhaps children should be thought how to be more capable from earlier ages. But the idea of child soldiers is one I will stand against.

  3. My belief is that no one should ever engage in the act of war. No matter who it be child, adult, or elder. A child should instead from a young age be thought how to leave behind all physical things, and using these children as a weapon in time of war will result in bad Karma to he who set upon this burden on the children. No one can truly rule over these children, even the parents are only there as guides. As nothing can be truly claimed to be owned.

  4. Great idea, who is this guy, I feel like he could lead us Americans to greatness. Why hadn't I thought of this, I could of put my children to good use when they were younger. Too late now. How can people not agree with you, I mean what other good things can come out of these children?! Whatever your intentions are I'm sure they're great and you and I might work to make these children rise and be one of the strongest footholds of our army. There's victory in numbers, and where lie most of our numbers? In our children! So simple I tell you.

  5. Honestly, maybe the use of child soldiers would not be such a bad idea. If we trained 12-13 year olds how to hold a gun and shoot, and then as they got older increased the military training, it may become a good plan. It seems like there is never enough soldiers, so this would make sure that the soldiers would be primed since a young age and almost work like robots. The more feeling soldiers have, the harder it is for them to do their job. A soldier must love their country and their family. Those are the only feelings they should have. Having child soldiers would make sure that this happened, and happened at a very young age.

  6. I cannot agree with this. I myself have lost a son. Shot to death in front of his car. I cannot imagine what it would be like for parents to know that their sons and daughters are out fighting a war. Day in and day out fearing for their lives, fearing that the enemy will not slit their throats at night. I understand wars must be won but there have to be better ways. My son was not a child when he died, he was a man. Even then the pain I felt was so great, so heavy, I could hardly keep calm. I almost did horrible things. I cannot imagine anything good coming out of Child Soldiers.

  7. Yo, let me be real with you man. The use of child soldiers is preposterous. Almost as preposterous as my wife's rear end. Don't you think we have enough little black kids dying in Chiraq as it is? Chicago is my hometown and it has pretty much turned into a war zone. More specifically, a child warzone. The day we promote the use of child soldiers is the day we become Nazi Germany-Yeezy
